With more than a decade of experience, Executive Sous Chef Scott Hemmerly brings an extensive knowledge of culinary arts to NEO and The Mansion on Peachtree, A Rosewood Hotel. In his role at The Mansion, he is responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations of NEO and The Mansion's catered events along with his expertly trained staff. Passionate about supporting local agriculture and sustainability, Chef Hemmerly works closely with purveyors and local vendors to obtain the freshest ingredients available and to create delicious, inspiring dishes for his refreshing farm-to-table menus in NEO and his simple and elegant catered events.
Prior to joining Rosewood in April 2008, Chef Hemmerly served as the Banquet Chef and Sous Chef at The Café at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Buckhead, as Sous Chef at The Club at the Strand in Naples, Florida, and as Chef de Partie at Lafite, the AAA Five-Diamond dining room at The Registry Resort & Club in Naples, Florida. He has also worked in various culinary capacities at such establishments as Perona Farms and Dexter’s Wine and Bistro. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Chef Hemmerly is a member of an elite group of award-winning Rosewood chefs whose culinary styles and innovation bring accolades to Rosewood Hotels & Resorts’ restaurants throughout the collection. |
